Hi guys,
I do like the layout and flow of your application, but like Josh, all Australian barcode lookups fail, which for me cripples the use of this application.
Most food products sold produced and sold in Australia carry the 93 country prefix. I’ve attempted to locate an alternative URL lookup for the barcodes, but with no luck. I do know that Woolworths, one of the two dominant supermarkets in Australia, has an very solid shopping ap that has an excellent barcode scan and product lookup capability… but I really don’t want to give Woolworths all my shopping info, and they don’t have the flexibility of your application. So for now, it’s a sad face from me.
I do hope you can improve the barcode lookup, perhaps via an agreement with major supermarket chains (Wooldworths, Coles, Aldi, etc). That would make your product perfect.
Best regards,
Joe
Hi Joe, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, products from some regions are missing from our database. Hopefully product selection will improve over time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Dirk, kindly note that you don’t need to pay again in order to install new version of Mighty Grocery. If you don’t find your purchase information at Google Play, please check your account at AndroidPIT. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Used the full vesion (1.3) daily! Thanks for it. Now I want to update but I don’t know how. Do I have to deinstall and buy it again?
Dirk, you don’t need to buy the app again. Just go to the store you downloaded Mighty Grocery from, find Mighty Grocery, and tap Update button.
Need to install on a new phone but
don’t see an update button.
Try on your new phone: Google Play > Search > Mighty Grocery > Install.
I had a question is there a way to cross reference the pantry and the list I’m going to purchase that day.
So that something would come up to tell me I have that item in stock.
Benjamin, thanks for your question. We may provide cross-reference to Pantry from shopping list in the future. In the meantime, there’s going to be Plan tab in the next update which will visualize stock vs. need vs. shopping.
Hi. Nic3 app. In the recent updates. The adding of items to list is very slow. The items don’t appear till you go out & back in. Very irritating. Want to go back to pen & paper. Pls fix or advise if error on HTC wildfire.
Hi Vishnu, thanks for your feedback. Please make sure that you are running the latest version 3.0, and please try rebooting your handset. We plan on performance improvements going forward. Thank you for understanding.
Can I add Isle numbers?
Dennis, you can add aisle number in aisle name, such as “8 Seafood”.
Hello, I bought your app and long use it, I like it. but I have a problem – I used to add products by voice before, there was a microphone icon, but there is no icon now. (Available only in the editing of a particular item), and the list can now be recorded only the keyboard. How do I get a voice recording? I used googl translator, sorry if some text incorrect
Kate, Kindly note that you can add mic button on the top from the Side bar. Just tap the Side menu button > Show Sidebar > long-tap Mic button on the right. The button will appear on the top. For more details please see Gettings started Guide.
Thank you! It is working, problem is solved, thank you very much for solution
I love this app. I shop the bogo (buy one get one) free deals and add coupons to this. I am able to add the bogo under coupon but it would be great to also be able to add the coupon too. This app has helped me to stick to a budget. I have recommended this app to my friends too.
Sharon, thanks so much for your feedback! We will consider your suggestion when we work on improvement of coupons feature going forward.
Sharon — make an “aisle” called coupons, when you enter the coupon name, put a (C) after the item the coupon is for to help differentiate between the coupon and the item name. This should work well with the Pantry feature, too!
I agree, a little more flexibility with/in the coupons would be great, such as stacking coupons/deals, or buy x get x (buy 3 get 1, b2-g1, etc)
Example: store deal buy 4, get 1, + a coupon for ?-off, + employee discount
Thank you for your feedback. We may consider adding multiple coupons support in one of the following updates. Thank you for supporting this feature.
It needs an invertory list
Dave, thanks for your feedback. We plan on adding the Pantry Manager feature on one of the following updates. Stay tuned!
Just download this app….loves how u can make lists by store instead of just by item…would like to add pictures to the items and store names but I guess that’s not available yet
Karen, thanks a lot for your feedback and for supporting adding pictures feature. We have plans to make it available going forward.
